Quotation Process

  • What is the standard quotation process and how do I start a project?

    Once the customer provides the file, F-Source will provide a formal quotation and machining remarks for reference.
    If you want to kick-off the project, please provide a formal PO and pay the specified deposit, as marked on the quotation.
    We will arrange the manufacturing schedule and provide estimated lead time after receiving the PO and deposit.

  • What 3D CAD file formats do you accept?

    We mainly accept CAD files in STP format.

  • How long does it take to receive a formal quotation?

    If we have received the complete CAD files and CMF definition, it usually takes around 1-2 business days for the quotation process.
    But more time may be required depending on the complexity and quantity of the project.
